Fund Raising opportunity for charities, youth groups,
schools etc.
The
Lions Club of Chichester are organising their 2010 Swimathon.
This event will provide an opportunity for local organisations to
participate in a fund raising event to raise funds for their own cause or
organisation.
The
event will be held at the Westgate Leisure Centre on Saturday 15th May 2010. Organisations
are permitted to enter teams of 4 – 6 members and each team will swim as many
lengths as they can, in relay, in a session of 55 mins. Sessions will commence
at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. As far as possible we will allow organisations to select
their preferred start time.
Teams
will be responsible for raising and collecting their own sponsorship. More than
one team may be entered by any organisation. Sponsorship monies will be paid
over to The Lions Club of Chichester, who will return 75% of the money raised by
each team to the organisations they represent or their nominated charity.

apply early - only 24 teams are guaranteed a place.
